Feeder, Hummingbird Variations

Feeder is an audio/visual meditation inspired by the delicacy and power of a hummingbird. Engaging in both whimsy and mysticism, it is a continuous evolution created through variation. Musical materials generated directly from movement and light were sculpted to the image using sound design techniques. Further development expands into improvisation, as the visuals perform their own variations. Eventually the piece develops into a kind of video mandala with musical accompaniment.
